Purpose and scope

Facts and editorial judgment are labelled by context, and unsupported claims are removed rather than softened into certainty.

Drafts must keep factual statements distinguishable from analysis and commercial context. Strong language is removed when the underlying source supports only a narrower conclusion.

How the policy works

Before publication, internal checks examine source references, structural consistency and prohibited claims. A page can still describe uncertainty, but it cannot disguise uncertainty as a verified fact.

PokerLume distinguishes verifiable facts from interpretation. Product rules, prices, technical claims and offer terms are checked against dated public material wherever possible. Opinion explains why a fact may matter; it does not replace the fact or conceal uncertainty.

Sources are weighted in a clear order: current official rules and product documentation first, then regulator or standards material where relevant, followed by credible independent reporting. Community discussion can reveal questions but is not sufficient proof on its own.

Accountability and limits

Volatile details are recorded with a verification date. When two sources conflict, the page states the conflict or withholds the claim until it can be resolved. Silence, an old screenshot or a copied summary is never presented as current confirmation.

Readers can report a precise error. The editorial record is reviewed against the cited evidence, related passages are checked, and a material change is disclosed in clear language. Minor spelling fixes may be made without creating a misleading revision history.
