Purpose and scope

The same questions are applied to comparable products, while conclusions remain proportionate to the available evidence.

Research begins by defining the exact question, the facts needed to answer it and the date on which volatile details were checked. Claims are then linked to the strongest available public evidence.

How the policy works

Comparisons use the same categories on both sides, including costs, rules, access and material limitations. Missing evidence reduces the scope of a conclusion rather than being filled by assumption.

Sources are weighted in a clear order: current official rules and product documentation first, then regulator or standards material where relevant, followed by credible independent reporting. Community discussion can reveal questions but is not sufficient proof on its own.

Volatile details are recorded with a verification date. When two sources conflict, the page states the conflict or withholds the claim until it can be resolved. Silence, an old screenshot or a copied summary is never presented as current confirmation.

Accountability and limits

Comparable rooms and products are examined with symmetrical criteria. Commercial status does not change the questions asked, the evidence threshold or the description of a limitation. A relationship may fund the publication, but it cannot buy a factual conclusion.
